This Royal caravan mover control arrived safely and on adding a power source was found to be transmitting an RF signal.  No problem could be replicated which means it may be an issue with the receiver.  It might be worth trying to re-pair the remote with its corresponding receiver.

A second controller was then sent on by the customer which was found to have a faulty battery lead, this was replaced which restored full functionality.

The payment on this page is for the 2nd controller that has been repaired.
