Customer's Fault Description
The red button / light has ceased to work. The handset has ceased to communicate with the electronic control unit.

 

This motor mover control arrived safely and was confirmed to be dead.

On opening there was a couple of transistors in the power circuit that were burnt.  These were replaced which restored full functionality.
