Customer's Fault Description
Stairlift remote no power from remote both red and green buttons should light red light (when pressed) above buttons to raise and lower stairlift

 

This stairlift control arrived safely and on adding a power source was confirmed to be dead.

The item was opened and a full component test carried out but the issue could not be pinpointed.  It was eventually concluded that the problem was with the main IC which although is available as a spare it is not available with the correct programming.  Sadly this has deemed a repair not possible.
