NOT FUCTIONIING. CORNER OF REAR COVER BROKEN.

 

This Sony audio control arrived safely and on inspection it was confirmed that part of the casing was missing, sadly we do not have a spare case to provide.

On testing it was also confirmed that the remote was non responsive from any button press.

When opened there were signs of a battery leakage that had contaminated the battery terminals and also left contamination around the main IC.

All contamination was cleared up and the terminals recoated with conductive paint which restore full functionality.
