Customer's Fault Description
Remote will not open the gas valve. Light comes on the remote but not the receiver, works intermittently on the close cycle.

 

This fireplace controller and receiver arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to be responding on the up channel.

This issue was found to be due to a erroneous 40.5 crystal.  This was replaced which restored functionality.
