Remote only works sporadically
There is no other way to control the functions of the fire
No manual controls but On/Off
This DRU fireplace controller arrived safely and on testing was found to have sporadic response on most buttons and two buttons were totally non responsive.
On opening the issue was found to be caused by both a faulty oscillator and also worn print contacts.
A new oscillator was fitted and the print was reworked which restored full functionality.
