Customers Fault Description : The spring at the bottom is rusty as battery corroded against spring and now not registering any power. Remote window works will operate with another controller
This Velux controller arrived safely and on inspection was confirmed to have a badly corroded battery terminal (see image).
This was replaced which restored full functionality.
