Customer's Fault Description
Difficulty working from afar.Improves slightly when much nearer the transmitter. When pressing the "on" button on the transmitter there is an intermittent response.
This fireplace remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing the signal from the remote was very weak, this is due to a faulty transducer in the handset.
The receiver has signs of a battery leakage and when testing with a working handset was also found to be faulty whereby the on channel is intermittent. Unfortunately this is due to a faulty 40.5khz crystal which are currently unavailable as a spare which has deemed a repair not possible.
