Customer's Fault Description
New batteries inserted, won't turn on fire. Remote not working. Also Battery cover won't stay on.

 

This electric fire controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed dead.

When opened the issue was found to be a large amount of liquid contamination over the button array (see image)

The board and buttons were thoroughly cleaned which restored full functionality.

We do not have spare battery covers (they are not available as spares which means a replacement cannot be supplied)
