'STANDBY/ON' button and volume control does not work

 

This TV control arrived safely and on inspection the standby button was detached and lodged in the case (see image), this was glued back into place correctly.

When tested the standby and volume buttons were sluggish / unresponsive.  This was due to worn contacts, replacement conductive button caps were fitted on the problematic buttons which restored normal functionality.
