Mertrix Maxitrol G30-ZRRS Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Mertrix Maxitrol
Model : G30-ZRRS
Customers Fault Description : The remote operation was intermittent and then stopped working. Have taken it apart and there are no obvious signs of loose joints or burning. The red light works on sender. Light is okay on receiver, when tested separately, but not when sender operates. I know the motor on gas fire works as I can operate it directly from the batteries.
This Calor gas fire control and receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote itself was not transmitting a signal.
This was due to a faulty transducer in the remote control itself, this was replaced which restored full functionality. No fault was found with the receiver.
