Customer's Fault Description
Not working, battery replaced. No IR. No damage noted.

 

This bathroom television controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed dead.

The facia had signs of it being opened previously as it was miss-aligned.

On opening the IR led was disconnected on one of its legs due to a bad solder joint.  The LED was replaced and resoldered properly which restored full functionality.

Please note that this control is not waterproof and great care must be taken to prevent future damage.
