No buttons working; have not tried to change battery, but I see you fixed an identical remote in July 2019

 

This electric fire controller arrived safely and on inspection the power button had signs of wear.

On testing the power button was confirmed non responsive.

When opened this was found to be due to the conductive part of the button being collapsed.  This was cleaned away and a replacement button cap fitted under the facia which restored full functionality.
