Customers Fault Description : Cannot turn power on - have changed batteries but completely dead. Can hear something moving about when shaking so think something has come loose

This fireplace control arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead.
On opening the usual problem of disconnected components was found. Luckily the transistor that had become dislodged was found inside the case. This was refitted securely and full functionality was restored.
