Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Wharfdale controller arrived safely and on inspection it had signs of an attempted opening (scuff marks at the top and bottom seam of the remote)
On testing no signal was present. When opened there was a large amount of liquid contamination over much of the PCB and button array. This was cleaned up which restored functionality to most of the buttons, some were found to be worn and no longer conductive.
Replacement conductive pads were glued into place which restored full functionality.
