Bose Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Bose
Customers Fault Description : The remote needs to be very close to the base to work. The attachment of the RF transmitter has come off.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Bose control arrived safely and on inspection the case was held together with tape at the top. On testing the signal was very weak.
On opening the RF coil was confirmed to have broken away from the PCB at one end. The print was reworked and the coil resoldered back into place and then hot glued to prevent future breaks.
This restored full functionality.
