Customers Fault Description : Remote not working at all, even when we have changed the battery we are not managing to get any buttons to work, or for the red light to come on at all. The fault did not happen suddenly. We only discovered it was faulty when we tried to first use it after the summer.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This gas fire control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead. If the battery lead was adjusted it would temporarily work, this was found to be the cause of the issue.
A replacement battery cable / clip was fitted which restored full functionality.
