Customers Fault Description : New Batteries-----Infra red does not light and equipment no longer responds.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Panasonic remote control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to be transmitting on any button.
On opening the issue was found to be due to a corroded battery terminal (see image) This was preventing power from getting to the PCB. The terminal was cleaned up and re-plated, this restored full functionality.
