Customer's Fault Description
This remote is temperamental with this receiver (‘on’ much worse than ‘off’) But this remote works perfectly on my fathers receiver <br /><br /> My father remote seems to work correctly for ‘off’ with this receiver but temperamental for ‘on’ <br /><br /> Implying that there might be an issue with both???
Remote Fixer Repair Response

 

This fireplace control and receiver arrived safely and on testing was intermittently responding on the up channel.

Also it was found that the 6v output was sporadic.  The channel issue was due to a faulty oscillator, this was replaced which restored the up channel.  Two transistors were replaced which restored normal 6v output.

No issue could be replicated with the remote itself and was tested with 3 other receivers with no issues
