REMOTE CONTROL AND RECEIVER NOT TALKING TO EACH OTHER. HAVE TO TURN FIRE ON AND OFF MANUALLY. NEW BATTERIES IN BOTH.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

 

This fireplace remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote itself was found not to be transmitting, this was due to a faulty transducer, this was replaced which restored full functionality.

One of the buttons was also replaced as it was reading irregular. 

No fault was found with the receiver.

Item returned 15 may 2020 with the down channel not functioning, this was not the original fault but was repaired by replacing the crystal 40khz in the receiver and not charged, this is not a guarantee repair, returned 20th may 2020
