Velux 3LR A01 WW Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : There are two remote controls for repair. One has no reaction (even when I threaten it it still plays dead) and the other appears to have a loose connection as the screen fades out/changes mode without prompting.

These two window controllers arrived safely and on testing one was very intermittent and the other was dead.

The intermittent on was opened and a SMD was found to be up ended making an intermittent connection.  This was soldered back into place which restored constant functionality.

The other controller was sadly a little more problematic.  A component test was carried out but no issue could be found, it was concluded that the issue was most likely with the main IC which sadly is not available to us as a spare. This one is classed as beyond repair.
