Does not operate the fire up or down, green battery residue on the receiver terminals

This remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote had sluggish buttons and the receiver had a corroded battery block.  The buttons were replaced in the remote as well as the battery lead. 

This restored full functionality.  The battery block was replaced to prevent future issues.
