Customer's Fault Description
When I push the down button - the light on the remote comes on and the gas stove attempts to turn down the flame.

When I push the up button - no light on the remote control comes on and the gas stove doesn't turn up the flame
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fireplace control arrived safely and on inspection, the included battery was dead.
On adding a power source the control was found to be working as normal.
Please note that the UP button does not work on its own, it is required to hold the up and down button to turn the fire up. (see testing video)
