Canton Dm75 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Remote runs each new battery flat within hours of fitting. Works fine for a while and the battery runs flat. Have tried several new batteries, all the same.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This canton controller arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting but a transistor (J6) was getting warm even when not activating.
This was replaced and the replacement was functioning normally.
