Customer's Fault Description
The receiver in the fire is not registering any commands from the remote. The remote controls are illuminating the led on the remote, but the receiver is not responding and the led on the receiver is not illuminating
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fireplace remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote itself was not sending a signal. This was due to a faulty IC. The PCB was replaced which restored full functionality.
The battery block in the receiver was also replaced as it had signs of corrosion from a battery leak.
