Customers Fault Description : Doesn't seven to giving off infrared signal. Fire can be operated with second remote we have so its not the fire itself. All buttons an light on face seem ok but no infra red
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This fireplace controller arrived safely and on testing the signal being emmited was erratic and the top left button needed a hard press.
Both issues were caused by faulty buttons causing a high resistance and noisy connection. All buttons were replaced and also a new IR led was fitted.
