Customer's Fault Description
Remote is completely dead; screen is not coming on and none of the buttons are responding.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Xpelair aircon remote arrived safely and on inspection the battery terminals had signs of a battery leakage / corrosion (see image).
When batteries were added the remote remained dead.
The terminals were etched clean and re-coated using conductive paint, this restored full functionality.
