APPA Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : The remote only works intermittently and lets my 91 year old mother down at the worst possible times. The battery also seems very loose in it's compartment so i wedge it up with a clean tissue to hold it against the terminals
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This bed controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be intermittent. This was due to a faulty oscillator (it was poorly soldered on one leg. A replacement was fitted which restored functionality. The battery terminals were bent into position.
