Celebrity (Motion Furniture Ltd) Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : The coiled cable (9 core) has seriously frayed at the entry into handset, and elsewhere along its length. Some cables have broken, at the handset. Plugs are still attached at both ends (8 pin DIN and RMC, I think?)

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

 

This recliner chair remote arrived safely and on inspection was confirmed that the cable was badly damaged.

The cable was replaced with a straight lead.  Also one of the buttons was physically broken, this was replaced.
