Black wire on battery clip has become detached.

This fireplace controller arrived safely and on inspection the battery cable was confirmed to be broken.  A replacement battery cable was fitted but then another issue was found.  When a fully charged battery was inserted the battery indicator was showing a dead battery indicator.  This was due to a faulty regulator, this was replaced which restored full functionality.
