Customer's Fault Description
3 months ago all functions worked normally except when we wanted to turn the fire on. This needed the remote to be touching the receiver aerial.
For the last couple of days ago all communication between the remote and receiver has failed, even when the remote is touching the aerial.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fireplace remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing the receiver was not responding from the remote control.
This was found to be a problem with the receiver itself, a 32.768khz crystal was found to be at fault. This was replaced which restored full functionality.
No problem was found with the remote.
