Manufacturer : MAHA
Model : RHL 111
Customers Fault Description : NONE OF THE UNITS ACTIVATE THE EQUIPMENT HOWEVER THE TORCH FUNCTION WORKS SO BATTERY OK.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
These Maha RHL 111 remote controls arrived safely and on testing each was malfunctioning and a couple rattled when shook. Also one was missing the Send button cap.
The first one that rattled was opened and the Send button was found to be dislodged from the PCB. This was refitted securely which restored full functionality.
The second remote that rattled was opened and a capacitor and choke was found loose inside, these were resoldered back into position and once charged was then working.
The third control was found not to be charging, at first this was thought to be a faulty battery but after closer inspection the issue was with the charging port PCB which had a couple of cracked joints, these were reworked which then restored charging capability and also full functionality.
The last control was missing its button cover for the send button. This made transmitting impossible. A replacement cap was not available as a spare and therefore a replacement was constructed and fitted. This restored full functionality.
