Willowbrook Remote Repair Details

This Willowbrook remote control arrived safely and on inspection the Red LED cover was missing, this doesnt effect functionality and cant be replaced.

On testing some buttons were "sticking" and on opening it looked like someone had attempted to repair said buttons due to the keypad being cut.

The mounting holes were filed out a bit and also replacement conductive button caps were glued onto the bad buttons (this makes the button press less deep and more responsive and eliminates the sticking issue) 

The oscillator was also replaced as a precaution as this is a common problem with these handsets.

On testing full functionality was restored.  It was noticed that the backlight on the number "2" button does not illuminate, again this doesnt effect functionality.
