Customer's Fault Description
Remote light shows when pressed up or down. Receiver light shows intermittently when turning fire down but receiver light doesn't work when turning flame up.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

 

This gas fire control and receiver arrived safely and on testing the receiver was not responding from the up channel sent by the handset.

This was due to a faulty 40.5khz crystal in the receiver, this was replaced which restored full functionality.  The battery block was also replaced as it had signs of a battery leakage.
