Can not get it to pair up with caravan, when it does it is only for a short time. Clicks but does not stay connected very long

This Carver caravan motor mover control arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting as per normal operation.  The control was tested over a day randomly but no issue could be replicated.

It was therefore concluded that the issue may be with the receiver itself.
