Bell Fires Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Bell Fires
Customers Fault Description : One of the buttons works ok (think it is the Up button) but the other one, to turn the fire down doesn't.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This fireplace controller arrived safely and on testing the down button was confirmed not to be transmitting even though the LED lit up.
This was due to a faulty 40khz crystal, this was replaced and full functionality was restored.
