Customers Fault Description : Appears not to be generating IR signal

This Cambridge remote control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to be transmitting a signal.
On opening the issue was found to be due to a corroded / broken battery terminal caused most likely by a battery leakage.
A replacement terminal was fitted which restored full functionality.
