Customers Fault Description : The ON button has always worked but the OFF button is erratic. I usually have to switch off the fire from the electric fire itself.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Dimplex fire controller arrived safely and on testing the bottom button was non responsive.
This was due to a worn button contact. Replacement button caps were fitted under the original facia, this restored full functionality.
