Customer's Fault Description
The ON button has always worked but the OFF button is erratic. I usually have to switch off the fire from the electric fire itself.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Dimplex fire controller arrived safely and on testing the bottom button was non responsive.

This was due to a worn button contact.  Replacement button caps were fitted under the original facia, this restored full functionality.
