Customer's Fault Description
Intermittent fault. It sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t. We have checked the code etc but it’s still faulty.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This garage door controller arrived safely and on inspection it was found that over sized screws were holding the remote together and these had pierced through the front of the control (this isnt an issue to the functionality)
On testing it was found that the button was very high in resistance meaning it would not actuate.
A replacement button was fitted which restored full functionality.
As a test the remote was cloned and the cloned controller was provided to the customer free of charge so that they can test the functionality.
