Customer's Fault Description
When you press the 2 on buttons, instead of a solid green light, it starts flashing and the mover starts moving on its own. If I press a different direction it stops moving until I release the button then it starts in the original direction. The green light continues to flash all the time, it is like the bottom right direction button is stuck.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This powrtouch controller arrived safely and on adding a power source was confirmed to have a shorted button meaning as soon as it was turned on it would activate one of the buttons.
The facia was peeled appart and found to have some contamination over the contacts, this is usually caused by water contamination. The contacts were cleaned up and full functionality was restored.
