Red light does not work on top of remote and buttons do not activate fire ignition.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This gas fire controller arrived safely and on testing the down button was non responsive.

This was due to a high resistance in the button itself, this button was replaced which restored functionality.

The battery cable was also replaced.
