Customers Fault Description : All top half of the remote buttons, in particular the on/off button
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This LG remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have many unresponsive buttons.
On opening this was found to be due to a large mass of liquid all over the button array.
This was cleaned up but some buttons still were sluggish, replacement button caps were glued under each bad button which restored full functionality.
