Customer's Fault Description
Tester tripped and dropped remote about 1ft from the ground. working fine prior to this. battery is ok - tested and working fine.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This brake tester controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed dead.  This item arrived without a battery cover (this cant be replaced as they are not available as spares)

On opening the issue was found to be due to a cracked red LED and also 2 open circuit IR LEDs.

All were replaced which restored full functionality.
