Vibradorm IRE-VRT Remote Control Repair

This adjustable bed controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to be transmitting on any button press.

This was due to a few issues, the first was that the battery terminals were bent away from the battery, this is common when the item is dropped.  They were bent back into place and a solder strengthener fitted to prevent future issues.

The next issue was the mode switch was not seated properly, this is a red slider switch that is situated between the battery terminals (see image), this was cleaned up using switch cleaner.  Please note that this switch has two positions, if the remote does not work the corresponding bed then remove the battery and slide the switch to the opposite end, sadly there was no way of me to know which side the switch was initially as it was mid position.  It will slide either fully left or fully right.

The oscillator was also replaced as this is a common fault on these remotes.
