Customers Fault Description : It may be the battery spring bent.

This electric wall fire control arrived safely and on testing was found to only transmit when the item was shook or tapped.
This was indeed found to be due to a miss-formed battery terminal making an intermittent connection to the battery.
The remote was opened and the terminal re-shaped and soldered into position which restored normal solid functionality.
