Legend Fires SPI16RNRL Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Legend Fires
Model : SPI16RNRL
Customers Fault Description : The fire doesn't light when the buttons are pressed on the remote.
The LED doesn't flash on the remote when any buttons are pressed (it normally flashes even if the fire doesn't respond).
One wire has broken off the PP3 battery snap, but this happened AFTER the fault occurred and is not the cause of it.
Checked the battery and it's okay.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This fireplace control arrived safely and on inspection the battery cover was broken and held on with a band (this sadly cant be replaced due to lack of spare availability, this doesnt effect functionality)
The battery cable was broken, this was replaced and then it was found that the buttons themselves were faulty, all four were replaced which restored full functionality.
