The unit is powered by a 9V battery. One of the press stud type connectors has fractured from the small connecxtor pad.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This fire controller arrived safely and on inspection the battery lead was confirmed to be damaged.  A new cable was fitted which restored full functionality.
