Unit has died. Replaced batteries with correct polarity. Still not powering up.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Gloworm controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed dead.

On opening there was a mass of contamination over part of the PCB (see image).

This was cleaned up and a couple of joints were resoldered, this restored full functionality.
