Customer's Fault Description
When pointing the remote at the fire, the lights on the remote still work. The clicking sound that is usually generated to indicate the fire ignition has started does not happen.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fireplace control and receiver arrived safely and on testing it was found that the transducer in the handset was faulty, a replacement was fitted which restored full functionality.
No issue could be found with the receiver.
