Customer's Fault Description
No power to remote. Battery corrosion/ damage to connector.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Velux remote arrived safely and on inspection was confirmed to have a badly corroded battery terminal. On opening this corrosion had traversed onto the main PCB and started to corrode one of the oscillators.
The terminal and the oscillator was replaced which restored full functionality.
